The Changsha Airport International Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference was held in Shanghai on July 16. Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone released 14 high-quality investment projects, covering headquarters economy, processing trade, cross-border e-commerce, intelligent manufacturing, general aviation, and business logistics. Vice Governor Zhu Zhongming attended and delivered a speech.
The promotion conference is part of the 2020 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference Week. Eight of the 14 projects were presented by the Changsha Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Zone, including high-end imported seafood and fruits and their intensive processing; electronic information processing trade industrial park; and, international cold chain distribution center. Another six key projects were promoted to accelerate the building of a high-end airport industry, including airport headquarters, airport financial industrial park, and airport advance manufacturing industrial park.
Vice Governor Zhu Zhongming hoped that investors at home and abroad would visit Hunan and invest in Hunan, contribute to the building of Hunan’s modern industrial system, focus on advanced industrial clusters such as rail transit, construction machinery, electronic information, new energy, and new materials, and cooperate in industrial chain development. Zhu expected investors would help build Hunan into an inland innovation and opening-up hub, make full use of Hunan’s opening-up resources, and work together to expand international markets, integrate the "Belt and Road" initiative and expand foreign trade. Hunan will make every effort to create an international market-oriented business environment ruled by law, so as to promote trade facilitation and cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
