On April 13-14, Hunan Vice Governor He Baoxiang visited Yueyang City to inspect the construction of Yueyang Area of Hunan Free Trade Zone. He asked to study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches made when inspecting Hunan, and stick to the functional positioning of “building a new opening-up highland in central China” in accordance with the decisions of central government and the deployment of provincial and municipal governments. We should promote the construction of Hunan Free Trade Zone Yueyang Area and contribute to Hunan's reform and opening-up with the problem-oriented idea keeping in mind and taking reform as the driving force, innovation as the means, and development as the goal, he said.

On April 13, Vice Governor He and his entourage went to Hualong Wharf, the most beautiful Yangtze River coastline, and other places to observe the city's efforts to protect the Yangtze River. He then visited the InnoChina’s ultra-large aluminum alloy material manufacturing, Panhua Group's 4 million tons of new sheet materials, Shenzhen International Southern China Logistics Co., Ltd.’s Yueyang Smart Commercial Logistics Complex, and other project construction sites, to learn about the major projects construction progress and the port industry development.
On April 14, Vice Governor He presided over a work symposium on the Hunan Free Trade Zone Yueyang Area construction, listened to relevant reports, and studied and arranged the work of next stage.
